Tana obtained her licence in Political Studies at Free University of Brussels and holds a Master Degree in European Studies from KU Leuven, her specialty being EU External Relations. During her bachelor degree she got noticed through the participation and coordination of the ULB Delegation to International Model NATO Conference in Washington D.C., in which she received the Distinguished Delegation Award for her activity in the North Atlantic Council. She was also rewarded with the First Prize for the Model EU simulation held at the European Economic and Social Committee. Her master thesis consisted in a case study of the implementation of EULEX mission in Kosovo and of the European Neighbourhood Policy towards Tunisia, formulating recommendations on how the new EU Global Strategy for Foreign and Security policy should present. Her main interests in political field are the national electoral mechanisms and processes, the EU foreign and security policy, solving world conflicts. Since 2016 she works in the European Commission in the Learning and Development Unit from the Directorate-General of Human Resources.

Tana Foarfă

Tana completed a bachelor degree in Political Science at Université Libre de Bruxelles and hold a Master Degree in European Studies from KU Leuven, EU External Relations module. During her licence she was first member and then head of the ULB Delegation to the International Model Delegation from Washington D.C., where she received an Outstanding Award for her activity in the North Atlantic Council. Her master thesis consisted in 2 case-studies of the implementation of EULEX mission in Kosovo and of the EU-Tunisia relations, formulating policy recommendations for the upcoming EU Global Strategy for Foreign and Security Policy launched immediately after the completion of her thesis. Her main areas of expertise are the electoral mechanisms and election processes, EU foreign and security policy, solving world conflicts, being appreciated for her trainings and workshops on EU institutions decision-making process. Since 2017 she works in the European Commission.
